Some Snook Facts
Snook are found from Central Florida to the Florida Keys, inshore in coastal and brackish waters.
Snook are prevalent along mangrove shorelines, seawalls and bridges, and also on reefs and piling nearshore.
Snook can live in fresh or saltwater, but can not tolerate water temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Snook feed on fish and large crustaceans.
Most snook that are caught weigh between 5 and 8 pounds.
The largest snook caught in Florida weighed
